There is always that one lame person with the stupid comment about fast cars and how dangerous they are on the road. I can argue that fast cars are safer on the road because it makes merging on to the freeway easier, because horsepower. Passing other cars easier also because balls; they stop faster because bigger

What about sport bikes? Those aren’t designed for drag racing, but a typical sport bike can click-off the 1/4 mile in the low 10s. And even the most expensive is still relatively cheap compared to the Dodge or the Tesla.

If they standardized 95 RON as the only octane, costs would necessarily come down as they’d not have to make multiple octanes anymore. Part of why 95 costs more now is that A. They can due to the consumer base for premium, and B. They make less and supply is more constrained.

This is 95 RON, which is not the same as 95 AKI (which is the system we use in the US). 95 RON is like 90-91 AKI, so we’d actually be getting a lower grade than current premium.

i am curious for your take on this as a pilot. Is this relatively “easy” for a commercial pilot? I recall all the public gushing over Sully and then heard anecdotes from commercial pilots who said any competent pilot could have performed that landing.

Oh yeah? But how many moths were in the engine?

it’s not oil It’s deck stain.

The most surprising thing is that the apex seals are NOT made of play-doh.

Go buy a Camry then.

You don’t have enough money then.

There could be kittens in there!!

My anecdotal evidence completely supports this theory, and if you throw Audis into the mix, the larger data set also supports this theory.

wut

Mine stems from my mom and is more about when I learned to drive stick.

I think the payload and tow ratings are very heavily influenced by your stopping ability. In other words if your F-150 had a top speed of 15 mph like this little guy its payload rating would probably be somewhere around 4,500 lbs. Switch that up and pretend this truck somehow managed to get to 50 mph and its payload

I don’t know about you, but I can’t even RUN that fast!

And hold your coffee.

Yeah, that’s great. But the F250 can haul all that weight AND break the speed limit in a residential zone.

How many times were they correct about their suspicions is the important question?

Elon Musk is west coast Trump.
