They made Blah into even more Blah.

I’m equally impressed and disappointed.

What commute lets you top out at 45 mph?

Once again proves he’s not the brightest.

Almost like automotive journalists should know something about cars....

Do you have prior experience owning sporty cars?

A composite oil pan is for NVH, it’s not going to improve power in any way.

For the better.

let her go man, let her go.

Mine was could smash through 8 inch tall grass, it was almost supernatural the amount of work that little engine could put out. She had a sharp blade, but nothing special.

D-600 is also the name of a Kubota 3 cylinder diesel.

I was unaware of the Lawnboy engine naming scheme.

I’m talking push mower engines and you start talking about a commercial duty 3 cylinder diesels????

That engine alone weighs 8 to 10 times more than the who push mower.

The throttle governor exists for a reason. Over speeding your engine is not going to help its longevity.

You’re calling the base 1.8 liter 8 valve CIS VW motor performance oriented?

Every owner who hates on CIS is usually their own worst enemy, they don’t know what they’re doing when they attempt repairs. CIS is a great system. It’s dead simple and takes power mods extremely well as it’s only responding to airflow.

Comparing a OHC V6 sporty car engine to a push rod economy I4 is an awful comparison. Never mind the difference in maintence.

CIS is a much better driving FI system than the early GM electronic options.

Dr. Diesel was murdered.

That’s the exact opposite of what you want for a lawn mower.

You want low rpm (noise) and high torque. These are direct drive remember. Simplicity sure but not much easier than a 2 stroke.

It’s hard to beat an old magnesium deck 2 stroke lawn boy with the muffler under the deck.

Lots of independent shops will charge you straight time. That’s a good thing if you’re bringing in a ‘98 Jetta, not so great if you’re bringing in a v12 Benz

I’d say it’s where (A) a car has been modified to the point of being non street legal or (B) substantially modified from stock with race quality parts or (C) has been designed as such as to fit a specific set of professional racing class or series requirements (homologation) or can be adapted as such..

On demand oil fouling!

Then by your definition “race car” has zero meaning.

One AutoX or RallyX in Mum’s Camry and it’s a racecar? Your definition is worthless.

You’re really trying to troll that hard?
