Fer like 20 feet....

Filbert and 22nd is “only” 31.5% , Baxster is 32%.

Cookies are a cruel bitch.

Someone calls you a name and you kill them?

Are you fucking serious?

That dude is actually me.

Tasers are not like guns. They don’t work 100%. Prongs miss, or don’t contact properly. Bullets, so long as you don’t miss, work every time. Bullets especially handgun bullets are not instant stoppers. It’s not like the movies. If you don’t get a hit in the CNS the target can keep coming at you. He may die of his

That’s not how it works.

In that 21 foot radius you have zero time to know if they’re coming at you with a knife or a bible. That needs to be determined ahead of time.

I’m not saying it’s carte blanche but the average citizen is totally unaware to danger of proximity. They think “The officer has a gun, this guy may have a knife. Why would they ever shoot him?”

Chooo Chooo Motherfuckers!

Look up some of Massad Ayoob’s work on youtube. It’s a self defense expert. You’ll learn a lot even if the videos are very 90's. His books are also excellent.

It’s showing that if they’re in that boundary you’re already dead or seriously injured. You (the officer) need to make that judgement call long before they’re in that radius.

If you’re 15 feet away from the suspect you have no time to think about their actions if they’re threatening or not, you only have time to try

The way it’s interpreted is that anyone within 21 feet is a lethal threat to you (the officer). It’s a drill where they start moving and you start drawing at the same time. Even when the officer is at low ready (gun out and pointed down at a spot ~6 feet in front of them) it’s amazing how many times you can’t make the

Read it again. The point is the 21 foot rule.

Raw income is useless. You need to look at cost of living. An engineer in the midwest making 80k can easily find 150k in the LA area. Those average income figures are low.

You’re casting a inappropriately wide net there. Reel it back in and have a real conversation. I’m not here to listen to you shitpost.

If policing were on par with the income potential of a professional career say engineering or business majors you’d have a much different demographic. You’d have professionals acting

You can get a flight from London to Morocco for 30 quid.

And this bus trip is a deal?

Their 4 year criminal justice degrees sure help.

Threat misidentification is a real problem, I’m not arguing with you there. I’m also not ready to let an officer get fatally stabbed because he was overly cautious about a potentially armed threat.

We need better risk identification procedures in place. We’d save both civilian and LEO lives.
