Ideally yes, in practice sometimes. I’ve seen Porsche and Mercedes dealers bend over backwards to help out a customer when corperate did not want to replace and engine or transmission. Then I’ve also seen those same dealers be assholes when they make a service mistake and won’t admit it.

Towing is GVWR/chassis limited not horsepower usually. Plus this is before the era of SAE J2807. 

You vastly underestimate the engineering that goes into fasteners. Those decisions were not arbitrary I promise you that.

If you keep them stock and don’t track the shit out of them they’re fairly reliable. It’s all the “BOOST BRAHs” that make either blow them up in the first place or trash them on the 3rd or 4th hand market.

You notice your ownership complaints are from inept mechanics not not primarily about the failing of the V10 itself? Yes it’s a complex motor, yes it’s expensive however under the stewardship of a properly trained (independent mechanic) the’re not nearly as awful as you make them out to be.
