But this movie is not a “Wahlberg draw” movie. It’s an artistic, dramatic piece.

Ok, Academy award nominee. Multiple times. My bad. The disparity still remains.

Michelle Williams is not a benchwarming QB in this analysis. She is an Academy Award winning actress. And the movie in question isn’t some shoot-em-up Transformers movie—it’s a dramatic piece. And, even if it was an action movie, $5 million versus $625,000 is ridiculous on its face for these two actors. ESPECIALLY

I read somewhere that Williams and Walhberg had the same agency. How in the world is the agency not violating some obligations to its clients (and to Michelle Williams specifically) by negotiating so differently for one client versus another?? Fiduciary duties?

So we can only go after people who have molested a majority of the remaining people?

And Trump is President. Doesn’t mean he’s not a fucking creep and awful human.

The reason I was so shocked and read the article was becuase it said that Walmart settled for that amount. When I found out it was a jury verdict with $5 million in punitives, the shock evaporated quickly.

I can’t believe this hasn’t been updated yet...settlement is very different from a jury verdict

The headline to this article is misleading. It makes it sound like Walmart voluntarily settled for $7.5 million. The content of the article is that a jury awarded that amount. A jury award is much different than a settlement.

Obama to the rest of the nation re: Trump: “He doesn’t even go here!”

Me too (to both points).

Where is the portal to one of the other parallel universes?

That doesn’t mean we should be “pleasantly” surprised by conviction. I am “pleasantly” surprised when my husband orders flowers delivered to my office on a random Friday.

Newsflash: He never had it. It being (a) sanity; (b) a sense of decency; (c) compassion for others; (d) normal-sized hands; (e) etc., etc.

Instead of life savings, I’ll make it something actually financially risky (if you don’t have savings anyway, it’s not a risk *laugh cry*), and say I would bet my remaining student loan balance—double or nothing.
