I completely agree, and as much as I would love for UNC to lead by example on such reform having been exposed (which has been a long time coming), it's one of the slimier operations I can think of on all levels, from admissions to administration to campus culture to tons of hidden truths I've probably lost track of

Grade inflation definitely exists for non-athlete students, too. I didn't attend UNC for undergrad but I know enough that the school's overall stellar academic reputation does make me roll my eyes.
