2 transmissions in 250k miles doesn't really seem that bad at all. These articles really make me miss the NOPI tuner Era.

Yeah, but the Mustang has also been the affordable muscle car, and those things have gotten pretty dang expensive, too.

I think the OP was being sarcastic...

“I’m still convinced that, with determination and patience, and strict attention to maintenance, cars can pretty much live indefinitely.”

Which car was his?!

I wonder how hard it would be to buy a Honda gold whatever and turn it in to that?

A turbo Dodge. Hell yeah.

Or get a quality seat cover. Fur stays on the cover, you pull it out, shake it, and throw it in the wash. I also buckle my dog in so she stays on the seat cover.

I just got a house that has well water. I splurged on a killer filter and softener system. I told my wife it was for drinking water. But really? It was for the cars...

ONR is amazing.

But it has US Military technology! So that means it will be behind schedule and woefully over budget?

Baby Boomer gear heads, when they reached middle age and had disposable income, built muscle cars that were cool when they were kids.

This is great journalism. I'd love so see more historical articles on other tuning shops, like Top Secret, HKS, Apexi, and Greddy!

That's why I still read Road & Track. Such good photography!

Now they're funded by 10-page advertisements for Weather Tech! :-D

American SUVs are now called crossovers, which are just broken minivans with smaller interiors, no sliding doors, lifted suspensions, and Rubbermaid tacked on the sides.

What happened to C&D? They used to be so good. I made the mistake of getting a multi year subscription, and when one comes in the mail now, I briefly flip through it and then toss it right into the recycling bin where it belongs.

A minivan with 400 horsepower. What a time to be alive!

I'd say what's destroying their brand is the fact that their core customer base (old fat white men who are trying to relive their youth) are all too old, too diabetic, or too dead to buy any more bikes.

Wait, off by 0.1 liters? In a 96 liter tank? That's barely 1%. How can you even measure that precisely? That sounds like a rounding error.
