Your comment about the Republican party is spot on. Starting in ‘08 when Obama was elected, they became the zero-compromise party. And shortly thereafter they became the anti-science party. And then with Trump: the anti-intellectual and conspiracy theorist party. I see no logic to any of their platform any longer.

Electrical/Computer Engineer here. Zero reason for Tesla to design this system in such a manner, other than the fact that they’re assholes. Easily could have been a serviceable part.

We Marylanders love our flag. Also, Maryland has a TON of special plates. I’m a member of the Mustang Club of Maryland, and I actually have the Mustang running pony logo on my plates. I think that’s cooler than a vanity plate.

A friend of mine was rear ended by a lifted white trash assault vehicle not unlike this. Fucked up her back permanently since the truck basically crushed the back half of her vehicle. Cops showed up and didn't even care that the vehicle was lifted to the point of being unsafe to others.

This is why I can’t support the Republican party. Everything is a fucking conspiracy:
