I am unashamedly stealing “absolute Unit” for my vocabulary.
The Kia Spectra is like what cars would be like if our relationship with cars was like our relationship with washers and dryers. We’d have competent, comfortable, inoffensive machines like this exclusively, and when it came time to get a new one, we’d just drag the old one to the curb without a moment’s thought…
Moving to a lower cost of living area and reducing transportation expenses are mutually exclusive.
“Beautiful” and “X3" should never be used in the same sentence.
I’ve not heard of any serious issues with Ford’s Ecoboost motors. I’ve got one in my Fusion, and it’s been great.
Good grief, I got a nearly loaded 2011 Mustang GT in 2011 for just over $30k. How the fuck did the price of a Mustang nearly DOUBLE in 7 years?!
Seek help.
Why the FUCK does a fire suppresion system in a goddam MAGNESIUM plant use WATER? That’s what clean agents are for, you dumb sons of bitches.
Why does this remind me of the movie Gattaca?

He replied that I had never had real gin, and proceeded to instruct the bartender on the proper way to construct a gin & tonic using Hendrick’s…
You leave Ikea out of this!
You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.
My mother is a loser.
Mmm, so your initial assumption was that the batteries were the limiting factor, and mine was that the motor was.
Only if the load changes.
In saying that a motor’s rating is irrelevant in the power expended in it, you are ignoring the torque curve of the electric motor, the back EMF generated in the windings, internal resistances in the motor, internal resistances of the batteries, thermal characteristics of the batteries, losses due to inefficiencies in…
If you double the number of banks and double the power output, you are keeping the range constant.
I design power systems and battery backups for datacenters. You’re assuming that all of the batteries are in series. In that case, yes, cutting the battery plant in half would also halve the power output.
You have literally no idea how batteries work, do you?
