I did own this Evora S...for awhile. It was the scariest 8 months of vehicle ownership to date. I’ve never thought a vehicle could actively try to murder my savings, but this one might’ve if I’d kept it. Thought maybe I’d be lucky to escape the “lots of trouble, usually serious” by picking one up with low miles, but

I feel like this recent Sonata has been let down by that awkward greenhouse. It’s all this angular styling, and then the whole middle of the car looks like a 2007 Buick Lacrosse.

Their dealerships, on the other hand...

Ah, Hyundai - the perfect combination of a car company that needs a top-spec warranty to justify their poor reliability while making sure to deny straightforward claims whenever possible.

Prior to this I was in the train of thought that Hyundai had really turned things around. They were making really cool looking cars. The quality was a lot better. Maybe a cheaper alternative to Honda and Toyota.  After this? No way I would ever trust one of these because if they made millions of engines that

Between their response to this and the car thefts, I’m really happy I didn’t even bother trying to shop Kia/Hyundai for our last 2 purchases. Just doing a basic purchase at their dealer networks can be bad enough, but it doesn’t seem like corporate cares any more about their image.

Do you mean the sub-micron tolerances on the quarter-inch panel gaps?

Ram drivers keep going farther and farther to the right, so no

If it was Tesla or BMW, we wouldn’t even need this recall.

An EV battery replacement is also a lot simpler and quicker than an engine rebuild. Doesn’t mean it’s cheaper.

The other problem is finding repair shops that will repair to sub-micron tolerances.

Right, I wasnt even thinking about that. But these are insurance companies we’re talking about here, they will absolutely use any excuse they can think of to raise rates.

80k just to get into the base model. ... man i am pretty sure i will be driving cars form the 90's and 00's until cars are fully deprecated as transportation.

Toyota has ZERO features that are top of the market in any capacity. “lack innovation” means just that. They don’t take any risks or push the market forward in any segment in any meaningful or notable way. It took the Carolla 2 decades after most competitors to kill off the sway bar in favor of the much safer and

It all depends on why you need a pickup truck. If it’s to go offroad, Tacoma is better. If it’s to haul stuff in the bed, Ridgeline is better.

I have both a 99 and a 05 V70 and prefer the 99. This car is so clean and you likely could not duplicate the car for this price even if you bought a cheaper rust free car that needed mechanical work. Traction will be an issue with the FWD only so plan on higher expenses on rubber. Note for those that don’t know, the

Me likey a lot. There’s such a thing as a Euro wagon having that proportion to its shape carried out by its styling that just clicks! and that wagon has it. I’m sold on the engine rebuild—my Spidey sense is not going off. So for way less than 10 grand, I like what I see. NP.

Probably books for half, but an easy NP for me. Love the looks and the seller did all the things I would do if I owned this car. I had an S60R and the only regrets I had was it wasn’t a V. I could live with FWD only (and without the Haldex which can be problematic), and 400lbs lighter is no joke. This thing will be

Much like that unironic Bentley Flying Spur that was in a news a week or so ago.
