I don’t have the keyless start in my cars, but with it being -7 here today, I get it; you walk up to your car and can open the door without taking off your gloves to fish around in your pocket for the key. But apart from that, I wouldn’t shun a car that had it.

Same here; also I try to keep my cars as long as possible, since I don’t like shelling out hundreds a month for car payments. I only got rid of my last truck (93 Bronco) cause the rear axle was going on it, and it sounded terrible, and I figured it would be a pricey fix. Got the current truck (08 Escape) nearly 14…

Smyth was the outfit that was doing the New Beetle and old Jetta conversions, and have been doing these for some time, and the work looks damn good, I hate to admit. I didn’t even think it was possible to purchase a vehicle with that amount of miles (well, a mile); I thought even from the factory they would run them a few miles just to make sure everything was ok, but I guess that isn’t the case here.
