A few weeks ago I was watching a documentary about drug addicted homeless couples (I was bored).

I don't know the racial makeup of her baby, but I do know that many Black babies are born with very light skin. Most gradually become darker over time. Some remain that skin color for life. Black people come in all shades.

Let’s not forget she’s been stripped from all committees, so she really just doesn’t have anything to do. This is all the GOP offers their base: anger and false outage.

I long stopped watching the videos. And, I don’t read every story. I feel guilty sometimes, because I believe every injustice deserves witnesses.

I get and agree with your point, but I feel obligated to point out that a 17yr old female is a girl, not a woman.

Creepy, isn’t it? It’s like she had biracial children so she’d have easy targets for her obviously deep seated racism.

It needs to be said that none of these women (or any other Black woman for that matter), needs this clown’s (or any other clown’s) approval or validation.

I cosign every single word of this. 

I’ve often wondered about this. I’ve read stories where the only charge is resisting arrest. Granted, I’m only reading what’s written in the story, but there’s no mention of an actual offense the person needed to be arrested for. How can someone resist an arrest that should not have been occurring anyway? Resisting…

Gentrification is a hot button topic for me, so I wasn’t gonna comment at all for fear I’d just end up rambling.

I cannot imagine anyone would be surprised by any of this. The media has been ‘erasing’ darker-than-a-paper-bag women for years. YEARS.

My friends and I lucked into tickets from a radio station for an early screening. It was a weeknight, the theater was packed, and the energy was thru the roof. A good time, a good memory.
