Nirvana = overrated

Vocabulary, of course, but also history - specifically, all about Joan of Arc via Mario's Time Machine. Also, learned the very bare basics of field medic treatment (i.e. what a medical sutre is) from Metal Gear Solid 3. And I learned a TON about mythology from looking up the names of Espers and other summons from the

@SmilingPolitely: Yes, I agree - perhaps my complaint is that overall, video game music is presented in a comic setting more often than not, which makes me feel patronized as someone who considers himself a "gamer" but also has a background in classical music. Just because I'm a gamer doesn't mean I wouldn't be able

@NoBullet: Uh, nice try, Dr. Genius - I ALSO have been to 2 VGL shows, hoping that the second would be better than the first - and yet they somehow found a way to make it worse.

This sucks - not because the music is bad, but because it's made into a JOKE, as always. This is actually one of the best-sounding (musically) performances of live video game music I've seen on YouTube, and yet just like Video Games Live, they decide to make a joke out of it and the laughter drowns out the actual art

This is awful. All it shows is what year each game came out - there's no series linearity (i.e. Battle Network series, Legends series, etc.). I could make a better timeline in about 3 seconds. Worthless.

Hopefully Ghostbusters (360) and some more Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Though after I downloaded it, I realized - WOW the music is awful. Thank God for custom tracks ^^

Americans are taller.

I get the itch to play Mega Man 2 ALL THE TIME. I actually downloaded it on my Virtual Console just so I could play it on a whim, even though I own the cartridge AND the Anniversary Collection (on the GameCube, though, where the button layout SUCKS). I think I mostly play MM2 for the music... well, and because it's so

FAIL

ITS bare essentials... it reduces the drum experience to ITS bare essentials. Jesus Christ I hate when people misuse "it's" and "its."

Game Boy Advance or Nintendo DS. Never had any issues, ever.

Midnight launch for Smash Brothers: Brawl... bought FF4 DS right away... Guitar Hero: World Tour right away... I'll probably wait out Chrono Trigger DS because I'm broke, just like how I can't afford Rock Band 2 right now. But no, I guess I'm NOT a patient game buyer overall.

Yeah, seriously, ditch the Doogie Howser references, that is SO five years ago. NPH is Dr. Horrible... just like me on Halloween.

Bioshock. Especially the Andrew Ryan part.

Yeah, what's up with the "don't not add quotes" and then "add quotes and you won't win?" Kind of a COMPLETE CONTRADICTION :(

Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2. RB2 more for content, GH more for hardware. And I'm also looking forward to Chrono Trigger DS, though I won't likely buy it until Christmas.

Crazy Taxi on Gamecube.
