Console shifters and bucket seat are perceived as more luxurious or sporty. The shifter/seat don’t turn the truck in to a coupe or make it cooler. I can’t get my dog to jump into the passenger seat without going over to mine, then clawing up the center console and having him feel bad when I tell him no. But dogs love trucks.
