My first real sport bike was an 89 GSX-R 750, blue and white. Oil-cooled, and a short stroke engine (The tach didn’t even start until 3000rpms). It was a hoot, and with an old Hindle pipe on it, that I’m sure had lost its baffles, I could be heard clear across town when I was winding it out.

It really is a crime that BMW never went ahead with the E39 M5t. Thankfully there are a few people out there righting this travesty.

I think it has a lot to do with MotoGP being relatively unknown in North America. When I used to watch it on Speedvision, the American races were always unavailable to me because Fox Sports or some other network would have the rights to it, and they would provide their own broadcast, with was inevitably terrible, with

I think MotoGP is actually pretty brilliant in the way they provide content. I’m sure they sell the broadcast rights to different media sources in different countries, but anybody anywhere can get it straight from the source through a subscription, and the money goes straight to them. I actually watch most of the

As a long time Rossi fan, I’m actually okay with Marquez coming back into title contention. We’ve all seen how he likes to meddle when the championship is out of grasp.

With the MotoGP.com subscription, you don’t have to watch the race “live” (although you can). All sessions are uploaded about an hour after they finish, and if you bookmark their “no spoiler” link, you can watch without seeing podium results or anything.

Hahahaha! This. I am LOLing at Lorenzo’s season right now. We also saw shades of his weakness every time it rained last year. I think he’s only really good when his bike is perfect, and now that he’s having to ride around problems, I don’t think he’ll ever be a true championship contender again.

It was in 2015 that Rossi received the grid penalty for the clash with Marquez, allowing Lorenzo to win the championship, which makes Marquez’ actions in a championship he was no longer a contender in, that much more villainous.

Great write-up! The other thing I would say that sets MotoGP apart from other racing series is the personalities of the riders. I would recommend to anyone interested in MotoGP to watch any or all of Mark Neale’s documentaries, from “Faster”, to his most recent “Hitting the Apex”. They do a great job of capturing the

Agreed. So much value for money. I’ve had a subscription for over 10 years now, and in recent seasons I’ve been watching every Qualifying and Race, and skimming through most of the practice sessions to see highlights.

At one of the motorcycle racing schools I attended, our instructor was offering rides on his 2-seater in order to teach trail-braking. He showed me that, as hard as I had been braking coming up to the corner, I could brake just as hard at full lean, all the way to the apex.

Lol, I haven’t “missed” the Pulsar...

5 years ago when our son was born, I sold my RHD Nissan GTI-R, and went out in search of a 4 door. Now I ferry 2 kids around in an E39 M5. I haven’t pissed the Pulsar for even a day...

Hot Fuzz is one of my favourites as well, but I know a number of people who didn’t really love it.

Have you made any enemies recently? I once worked alongside a diabolical plumber who had a very creative vengeful spirit. One example of this is when one of his coworkers pissed him off, he put a ball bearing inside a copper tube and soldered some end caps on, then zip-tied it up under the dash of his new truck. Every

I saw one locally for a shade over $25000 CAD (So, like $47 American dollars) a few years back. If I hadn’t just bought my E39 M5, I probably would have pulled the trigger.

Sorry, when I look at it, I still see the ugliest “M” car ever built. The fact that it looks similar to modern cars is not a testament to its design, rather it is evidence that modern car design has become gaudy, and unimaginative.

I think the deeper concrete is only required for a 2 post lift, where there is the possibility of an unbalanced load providing a sideways force on the bolts. In the case of a 4 post lift like this, I believe it is not required.

I actually really like the Anthracite on Caramel combo. Imola Red is great too! Oxford green on Caramel would have been my top pick if I could find it.
