I just flew for the first time since the pandemic.

If no one buys new cars, there wont be any used cars.

The majority of the free money came from the drastic cuts in taxes that those deranged with support for Trump have overlooked, just a continuation in a long line of funding the wealthy that the Republicans have performed.

3rd Gear: If it really were so easy to assign blame for it, so many extra factors in play the past two years that it can’t be pinned on a single entity. Around here everyone is #FJB and giving him all of the blame, I despised Trump and he made contributions to the situation as well but I’m not going to pin it on him.

See, that was knocked me off the fence. I don’t have time to waste in an ICU, and there absolutely are still dumbfucks running amok. Get the booster and you can worry a little less about ’em.

Gas prices are going up because OPEC halted production. FFS.

Also ten months ago: Worldwide demand remained low due to ongoing pandemic.

When gas was crazy expensive under Bush after the Iraq war I remember a bunch of conservatives saying not to blame the president but whatever.

A: Said pipeline was only about 10% completed and was providing zero oil and hence had nothing to do with supplies.

B: You do realize that if we wen all electric that would drive down demand for gas.... right?

C: Gas prices are not controlled by national demand. Its international demand and whatever is produced in the

Pretty hilarious that you would frame second gear in that way since last time I looked, our side doesn’t whine and then attack the nation’s capital in defense of their crooked leader...

Makes you wonder if getting a state issued photo ID was being throttled for other reasons.

Remember all this the next time you read that requiring ID isn’t a barrier to voting.

Sounds like the paperwork you need to get a Enhanced ID driver’s license.

The “trolley dilemma” is a red herring based on false assumptions about real-world crashes. At the first level, crashes occur because the driver did not see the crash coming (perception errors) or was driving in ways not suited to conditions (performance errors). ADS, in principle, do not make these errors. At a second

Came for this...

I’d tread lightly if I were Leno, Seinfeld or Farah - I hear the Malibu Police Chief doesn’t mess around:

Malibu Kitchen is definitely in favor of them keeping the lot open as before. The owner (Bill) has complained multiple times about not being able to open at 8am because there are cops blocking the lots. They lose an enormous amount of early Sunday morning business as a result of the stupid actions by the city of Malibu

Anyway, now that the security blocks off the lot until 9:30 or 10, the meet just starts later, when more business are open, which is obviously causing problems by taking parking space away from customers.”

There isn’t binary logic in the decision path that would decide to kill one person vs another. The software will never sacrifice somebody, because it doesn’t work that way. It works in less-obviously deterministic ways. Ways that produce far less satisfying explanations of “why.”

Can you imagine paying 10 thousand dollars for this crap?   I'd be demanding my money back.
