> What makes Syndrome the villain?

This totally captures the very serious and humorless vibe of the original Rampage video game which was definitely not just a silly and fun romp about monsters destroying buildings.

The climax of the movie is the emotionally-charged moment when Batman realizes that they’re actually called “Martha Boxes,” and I’ll just show myself out thanks

I grew up on the border. I remember when the Bush administration put up the fence all those years ago. I would pass by it literally every day until I moved away. I see it every time I go home. I hate that fence. I hate it so much. The idea of a border wall is infuriating to me. It creates in me an anger like little

South Park also said that “both sides are equally bad” last year, so them spending an entire episode making fun of George Clooney (who was in the movie for crying out loud) speaks to their self-rightousness rather than their wit. And I’m not even a South Park hater!

I like Muppet Treasure Island, damn it. Tim Curry is wonderful in it and there’s some good jokes. The opening, where Blind Pew comes looking for Billy Bones, makes me laugh every time I see it and I’ll stalk the House for hours afterward yelling “Billy Bones” in an odd French accent.

I mean, superhero universes are kinda ideal for this sort of thing. For all their personal differences, Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America all immediately recognize that Thanos needs his ass kicked. There’s an easy common ground that they can all unite behind. And right now, we’re still only 1 for 2 on those

Now playing

“The film was a smashing success… as an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.”

“Jason went to “Lynyrd Skynyrd High School,” which, from his description, sounds more like a sex abuse pyramid scheme run out of a tugboat graveyard.”

Who are you kidding? It’s well-done /w ketchup for the Dorito-in-chief.

“Some very fine people”...... with fava beans and Chianti.

I remember there used to be so many WW2 games because it was considered completely morally safe to kill Nazis; they were the ultimate evil and ultimate bad guys.

He feels like a bad Vince Russo gimmick.

You couldn’t wear your pants any lower, so you made tiny pants for each leg! Say it!

I feel like the only people who should be allowed to use the word “females” are biologists.

Member of law enforcement here. There is no legitimate reason for any civilian to have access to assault weapons. None. Fuck the libertarian bullshit. Full stop.

It’s possible to believe that the film was good, not great, and also believe that Cameron is being a boor.

I love that episode where Gibbs has big plans for the summer but ends up teaching an English class for a bunch of wacky misfit teens. Also he has a cool dog and Kirstie Alley guest stars.

Nazis: “We literally believe that the genocide of non-whites is justified.”

Eh... if you carry Nazi paraphernalia, shout Nazi slogans, espouse Nazi philosophy and call yourselves Nazis, I think it’s safe for someone to refer to you as a Nazi.
