"Duh, I'm MothraStewart. I don't know the mass of the Higgs Boson."
This episode really just reinforced the fact that I really want an episode that revolves around Pearl and Mrs. Maheswaran both talking about Connie's training and getting into a big competition-y thing; like the alpha mom vs. the alpha coach.
I kind of agree with you here, but I think given how Mrs. Maheswaran has been presented (an overachiever who kind of pushes Connie in that direction), I wouldn't be surprised if Mrs. Maheswaran has had at least one sit-down talk with her about The Future and prepping for whatever. She seems like the type of mom who is…
Man, I really need to get back into Stardew Valley. I stopped playing it months ago and I didn't even finish my first year.
I wonder if Pence has sat his daughter down yet and had the "I'm sorry, honey, but you're never going to be as good as a man at anything" talk yet. Such an important part of a young girlfemale's development.
Likewise. I just don't see the appeal of CAH.
Well, the game is designed to be "shocking", but the thing about "shocking" is that it has no value once that initial shock has passed.
"Be peaceful or I'll kill you!"
I think the only post-Kirby writer who really "got" the New Gods was Morrison. To everybody else they're just "supervillians, but bigger".
It's amazing how badly these movies are not getting the basic concepts of these characters. Especially since they've been established for decades.
Not gonna lie: I'd watch that movie.
This is going to be pretty damn nerdy of me, but I so do not want the New Gods in the hands of Snyder. I'm a huge fan of Jack Kirby's work and the Fourth World creations in particular, and I just know Snyder's going to fuck it up and not really get what the point of Darksied is and what actually makes him such a scary…
Man, I bet this article was written by a hunks. :(
Christ, I'm so sorry.
One thing I love about this game is that there's a bunch of characters who can be effective when played by people (like myself) who aren't good at precision aiming because we don't play this style game a lot. I can't Widowmaker for shit, but I can grab Pharah or Junkrat and still do a good amount of damage.
I do not enjoy competitive games in general, and competitive FPSs in particular. I played TF2 back on the 360 and that's about it.
I've found the Overwatch in-game people to be pretty chill overall. I've been playing since launch on PC and I've rarely seen people getting really angry. Usually it's just sarcastic comments about Bastion or Torb's turret getting PotG.
Y'know, every time I see someone pulling a "but won't someone think of the rapist" and/or "well, you know, she's just as much if not more to blame" deal, I can't help wondering if they'd still be saying that if it was them or their friend/girlfriend/mother/daughter/etc. who was raped. Like, would they still try to see…
"I was reading a book (about interjections, oddly enough) yesterday which included the phrase “In these days of political correctness…” talking about no longer making jokes that denigrated people for their culture or for the colour of their skin. And I thought, “That’s not actually anything to do with ‘political…
Some basic internet detectivery tells me that the first printing of the novel was released on August 1, 1984, and the movie was released on August 15, 1984. So you're technically correct (the best kind of correct).
