I’m personally more interested that they’ve releasing newly manufactured paddle controllers alongside this new console. My originals jitter around so wildly they’re pretty much unusable.

I’m not super familiar with Star Raiders. But as far as i know, this machine still has the same controller ports as a vintage Atari 2600. So maybe it means it plays Star Raiders as long as you provide the keypad (and the cartridge) yourself?

Lessee...I have a Sears Video Arcade Heavy-Sixer, an Atari 2600 Vader and an Atari 7800. The Vader and 7800 are both in good working order. I also have at least 100 carts for the 2600 and 20 carts for the 7800, as well as a CRT to play them on.

And streaming is probably way better quality too.

I guess if you live in or near a city with an independent cinema? I’ve never been able to watch Hal Hartley films in a cinema, but these days I imagine I could watch them on streaming somewhere.
