I have one customer at my job that posts her replies to my emails by replying—and CHANGING THE GODDAMN SUBJECT LINE TO HER ANSWER EVERY SINGLE TIME. Literally nothing new in the body.  Her answer is entirely the new subject line, but she leaves the RE:.  You want to talk about maniacs? That is some next-level shit

“Leftmost” implies I don’t need a dozen browser windows open to fit the 300 odd open tabs I’ll totally get to this week. Mail is the one tab that I actually close regularly.

Probably not something with a big budget, but I bet that she’d be the difference between red light and green light for something that can be made for 15 million.

She had a couple big franchise roles (Hunger Games, X-Men) and several hits with David O. Russell, but I’m not sure she’s ever been getting movies to be greenlit just by signing on.

At least one of the Canadian Ryans are in there, not so sure about Pratt and Lawrence these days.

I think both of those movies are indies*, but yeah, they were made during the era Holofcener is pining for.

Probably The Rock. Maybe RDJr. Will Smith pre-slap (though maybe even still).

I probably would have thrown Clooney and Pitt on there in place of Lawrence and Pratt, although they’re probably not still the draws I sort of perceive them as.

Werewolves are my favorite movie monster so ranking is never easy. I honestly even really like the Wolfman movie that came out a few years ago with Benicio Del Toro. Ginger Snaps is so damn good, though! Speaking of movie double features, I think every preteen girl should watch a double feature of Ginger Snaps and

Incidentally, Dog Soldiers is hard to remove from my top werewolf movie spot but Brotherhood is a strong contender.
