I know. I’m Canadian and a huge horror fan so I’m even more insulted they’re not given how often I’ve seen them growing up in my favourite shows/movies. 

There’s not enough love for all three of these movies. Fantastic trilogy.

I think this is Gun’s strategy. All the other films have Superman defining himself against regular people mostly. In this film, we will see Superman defined by his relationships with other heroes. It will be fun.

IIRC Barry wasn’t paying rent; he owned both properties. One of the Wells left STAR Labs to him in his will. But I guess he had to pay to maintain them.

We’ve never seen a Superman in context with heroes like Mr. Terrific and Green Lantern. This will be really cool. 

The show definitely made him seem more like a Felicity replacement as she reduced her involvement with the team rather than a major hero in his own right.

Love her, and love her honesty and openness. I’m glad she’s sharing her experiences and giving voice to so many who have felt this way. 

It’s also a reassurance to the person asking. It lets them go on with their lives. They want to think the person is improving, not that life is hell and they sometimes think about stepping in front of a train.

It’s too bad people can’t go right ahead and “say it.” Countless people are thinking it. Too many people are being driven to do it. You can be honest and then lose your freedom. That’s fucked up. I support compassionate choices no matter the reason.

I don’t think anyone with a chronic illness is surprised by any of this. People love to ask how you’re feeling so that they can congratulate you on being brave/a fighter/etc when you politely just say “fine” and downplay things. People don’t like when you actually acknowledge how much it fuckin’ sucks because that’s…

I remember being really annoyed with my friends when I first watched it because I was getting so into it, and they started interrupting because they didn’t care for the songs. Now I just return to it on my own from time to time because it remains such a good experience.
