Apparently I was distracted during this episode, because I didn’t remember seeing Darius once, I didn’t realize the weed was poisoned, and I don’t know how you knew the farm was “north of Atlanta”.

MoMA also points out about the painting, “The title Christina’s World, courtesy of Wyeth’s wife, indicates that the painting is more a psychological landscape than a portrait, a portrayal of a state of mind rather than a place.” As can certainly be said of Atlanta as well.
Well I was planning on putting myself through the torment of a new Titans season anyhow, just to see if Dick actually goddamn learns something for once in his life, so at least I’ll have a Stargirl guest spot to look forward to.
Yeah... “Grand dark fantasy series by Stephen king” is a tantalizing opportunity that will continue to resurface until it’s done right (or the bubble bursts on expensive genre prestige dramas).
Many of the animated films have been stellar (Under the Red Hood)(a lot were bad, especially after they went DCNu52), but I don’t think they make a ton of money, even compared to an underperforming live-action feature.
Yeah, I think it speaks volumes and volumes about the future of the DC movies that it was Superman and not Shazam at the end. I woulda bet money Shazam would’ve appeared in this at at some point.
Well, Car 54 did have Buster Poindexter and John C McGinley...
In high school, a friend and I drove across the Midwest and spent a weekend with Mike and Mark up in Milwaukee. We made our own short doc on them and their friends in the middle of a particularly frigid January, filming on miniDV tape camcorders. Those memories were great, this news makes me sad.
Damn. You can’t watch that movie without coming away with the impression that this was a guy who’d faced a lot of troubles but was now trying his best to come out of it with positivity and a genuine desire to help his friends.
Yeah I teleported through a portal once, explored around the new planet, then realized my ship was on the OTHER planet I was on and I couldn’t call it to me, and I had wandered for HOURS on this new planet and couldn’t find the portal again. Needless to say I never went back to that save file lol.
Any game that offers an “Im a grown ass adult with two kids and I don’t have 10 hours a day to play games just let me see the cool shit” Mode gets a fat fucking gold star from me.
Just don’t forget to put launch fuel in your ship before wandering off. (Or set it to free I guess). I made that mistake once.
FYI, If you have your ship, you can fly into space and use your pulse engine (spacebar I think on PC) to fly there faster.
Sounds like a Stefon recommendation.
It’s only fitting after they let her dad chew all of the scenery in the final TOS movie. Why not let her finally close out the TNG era?
I do think they need to avoid the Lost temptation to explain everything and, at best, make it fairly mundane, or at worst, pour a bunch of uninteresting worldbuilding (oh, sorry, I guess that’s “legendarium” now) all over us.
Brolin being agonized was great, though. He gave a pretty mythic-level performance, in my…
go away.
The Muppets Are Not What They Seem
Or have a subscription to one of the services (and I can’t even remember what they were called at this point) where just as though it were a magazine you’d receive a monthly 3.5" floppy in the U.S. Mail with a variety of software on it.
