May have just been issues on my end, but the sound seemed off. It was weirdly muted, especially the vocals. But yeah, they were great performances regardless. He even had Sampha out to do “Father Time.” No idea why the reviewer didn’t even deign to mention them.

“Reservation Dogs” is a great example of not needing to fear getting the jokes/meanings/layers of what’s going on with a community one isn’t a member of. It laugh my ass off and cry when necessary watching that show. I’m sure a lot goes right over my head and passes me by, but like Atlanta, there is enough humanity in

Recently there was a death in our family. He was a little dog named Snuggles.

If I had to guess, they probably got a handful of folks who felt like I did giving them feedback and adjusted. To be fair, I never got the sense that it was *malicious*. Just deeply inconsiderate and reckless.

The targ has experienced bij and must endure six more weeks of dishonor.

I have *been* that work friend. Any time I interview for a desk job (my academic jobs haven’t been formal the same way) and they ask that dreaded question, “What are some of your weaknesses?” I always bring up that I’m overly casual and jokey, which sometimes interferes in productivity. It’s a rough look to attempt snark about upholding the spirit of punk when you’re essentially a scab worker for hedge fund chuds who gutted the writing staff and turned this once beloved site into a Buzzfeed listicle-o-rama.

I just kept thinking it was a play on “It Follows.” What a great 2-part premier.

I loved all that stuff too, I even had a Space: 1999 lunch box. I guess Star Trek was just a very specific thing to me, and the 79 movie just wasn’t what I wanted out it. I appreciate parts of it much more now, for sure.

Agreed.

You have good opinions about this and I just think you should know that.
