Well, The End of the F***ing World was a delight, so hopefully that same edge shows up in this.

I got an overpriced Airbnb in the path of totality a few months ago, fully expect it to be cloudy, but this was mostly an excuse to get me to actually use some accrued vacation time, so it’s gonna accomplish that no matter what else happens.

Every time he opened his mouth I braced myself for the worst words to come out of it, and he did not disappoint.

If it’s any consolation to her, she was the best part of The Tourist. Well, her and the giant Icelandic assassin with the cowboy hat. But mostly her!

KStew’s movies are hit-or-miss for me, but I’m here for her giving zero fucks about what the troglodytes want. I hope her final form is “the Li’l Nas X of cinema”.

There’s also good horror & sci-fi TV on MGM+ in the form of From (which is probably coming back late this year or early 2025) and Beacon 23, which I think comes back for season 2 next month.

I was thinking lesbian True Romance, which if this is not that, somebody should make that too. (Also, I love Bound, still my favorite Wachowski flick)

Didn’t Lucy Hale & Grant Gustin already kinda do this movie?

The only way to Top That would be a Teen Witch remake.

“The Kids Are Alright” has always been my favorite, it just feels lyrically subversive over the top of a pretty standard 60s group sound.

I liked, but didn’t love it. Actually, I really loved the score and will be streaming that if I can, but barely liked the movie. The dialogue was kinda weirdly constructed. I don’t have anything resembling a gaming PC nor do I really want one, and I don’t imagine this hitting the Switch or PS4, which is all I do have. Obviously there would be other things to play on a Steam Deck & I’ve been considering getting one for awhile, but this would be a game that might get me to pull the trigger.

This reminds me more of Vigilante 8 than anything, the maps especially & that was one of my favorite PS1 games. I would actually consider picking up a Steam Deck for this if it ends up being any good.

I’ve seen Season of the Witch at least 10 times at this point. It’s also got Robert Sheehan from Misfits & Umbrella Academy. It’s one of those so bad it’s awesome experiences and I love it very much.

This movie giving off serious Latrine Gun Kelly vibes.

Oh yeah, she’s pretty much the perfect cast for Lois, not disputing that or how awesome she is at all.

Growing up, like 3 kids I knew at school read comic books and none of them were anything like Rachel Brosnahan (aka a jock who did theater). I don’t think it’s a given that most kids have read comic books - it could be true, but I don’t necessarily think it is.
