Hopefully context will be enough. I think I have spinoff fatigue, but the thought of veering off into a different show to understand what’s happening in the show I’m actually watching doesn’t appeal.

Do I need to watch Gen V to follow season 4, or is being up to date on the show itself enough?

Nintendo is in my very good graces in 2024. Getting Another Code, Pocket Card Jockey, and Endless Ocean all in the same year. Is it too much to hope for Hotel Dusk too?

I haven’t seen today’s new episode drops yet, but just going by the first 6, Ken & Brittney seem like the only ones with a chance. I actually think Chelsea’s going to end up with Trevor before this whole thing is over. I also can’t wait for weird Matt to chase down Amber because that’s gonna be compelling TV!

Vince’s show was pretty good. The first episode felt like a miss, but the rest of it was very entertaining. It was a little wild having him be the straight man in the show as funny as he usually is.

In a weird way, it actually convinced me that Bautista was serious about acting and wasn’t just a wrestler looking for a cash-in.

“Real life nutjob deterrent” is the best explanation for that alliance I’ve seen yet.

On the one hand, Alex Garland is my boy and this kind of dystopian nightmare fuel is absolutely my jam. Did anyone else see the Dave Bautista movie Bushwick where some chicken-fried Texas militia types invade Brooklyn? Nobody will call that a good movie, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. The thing that really kills me about this is that we’re losing Wole Parks as the best live action version of Steel since Shaquille O’Neal!

I watched it after hearing how bad it was and I found it to be a pretty standard effects & set pieces movie, nothing special, nothing horrible.

All good, I just noticed I spelled it “Spuerman” so that’s where I am today on the need coffee scale :).

I suspect I’m older than almost everyone commenting here, and I did mention Spuerman IV in a reply to someone else :).

I think Superman IV was actually significantly worse than Supergirl.
