I appreciated the intermission in the 70mm roadshow screening of The Hateful Eight and that was almost 30 minutes shorter.

That episode of The Greatest American Hero freaked me the hell out as a kid! According to the IMDB for the episode, William Katt said there was a planned follow-up episode but the network shot the idea down & told them to stick to the kid-friendly material.

This is basically where I am. Generally opposed to reboots of good things, but Sam Esmail might actually make a better version than the RDM version (on the whole, that first season would be hard to beat).

Let’s hit the fuckin’ road! We’re giving our neighbor a joyride!”

It definitely got pulled from the front page, but the link to it in this story gets you there. But the comment section got vaporized, probably due to the “Why are they speaking Spanish on my ‘murican show?!” comment thread if I had to guess.

It’s funny, “Channel Z” was my introduction to the B-52s and I bought Cosmic Thing to get more songs like that. It turned out that there weren’t more songs like that on the album, but “Roam”, “Deadbeat Club”, and “Love Shack” were all so good, I was a fan. At that point I started buying the older cassettes from

So many great scenes in this show across both seasons, but I will always have a soft spot for Ariana Grande’s death scene:

Gloria STEINMAN? Jesus Christ, Pre-alpha Google Bard, you need to scrape the internet a little harder for your data.

At first glance, Ghosts of the Void looks like a better riff on The Strangers than whatever Renny Harlin is doing.

I’ll like this for a thousand years, a thousand years. I can’t wait ‘til I see it.

In keeping with the spirit of violence in Prime’s superhero offerings, any executive that gives the OK to splitting an EIGHT episode season in half should be force fed his own spleen.

The original is one of my favorite movies of the 2000s. It had basically 2 locations and 6 characters with names and more than a minute of screen time. It ran for 86 minutes. It was beautifully shot, excellently staged, and tense all the way through. It was a perfect package.

There’s a Switch version of Impossible Mission also. But for a docu-game, maybe they could have the story of the game’s development unlocked as you got pieces of the puzzle assembled or used the computer terminals to freeze the robots.

A docu-game about the King’s Quest series from Roberta & Ken Williams done as a King’s Quest style adventure game would be amazing.

The highlight for me was Dean Stockwell doing his best Doc Brown impersonation at every revelation they had. But honestly, that was kind of a low-key stacked cast - Stockwell, Patricia Wettig, David Morse, Pinchot, Frankie Faison. Solid collection of character actors.

The film stars Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich (played by Holt McCallany)

It’s really the only thing that would make sense in the context of those characters. A brief complaint about how hard it was for them, followed by quickly moving on, having learned nothing.

In the long run they probably will, Mozilla probably will, maybe Linux will (the other wrinkle for me is that I’m a Linux user, also not supported) but the point is that Google seems to want this to happen now and the ecosystem at large is not ready for that. There are also a grand total of 3 sites I use that support
