What kind of idiot designs something intended for outdoor use that can’t be easily washed? That’s like dry-clean-only patio furniture.

At this point, buying one seems like a self own. Like kicking yourself in the nuts seems easier.

It’s ridiculous that the company wants to eliminate shifters and let the car predict the gear/direction of travel on its own but it cannot determine that it is about to enter a car wash and be inundated with water from all angles.

Doesn’t explain the “warranty void” and the water ingress.

Sheesh! You have to put it in a special mode for it to cope with a fucking car wash? And if not, warranty is voided! What a fucking shitshow of a design and company.

Some of these explanations make sense. Playing P3P as the female protagonist radically changes the game with new social links, and I can understand how adapting all of that in P3R would have been a huge ask. I can also understand that the decision to adapt the epilogue was only made later in development.

But charging a

“Producer explains why a crucial piece of content is DLC”
I don’t like being the cynical one, but every Atlus RPG and new Sega release is swimming in DLC, so obviously the answer is $$$. Every Persona game in particular is nickel and dimed with music, cosmetics, etc, and most of them also have a subsequent definitive

Exact question I asked with the FF Pixel Remasters. So... I can play FFIV on PC with remixed music, “better” graphics, etc, but if I want the bonus dungeons or selectable teams instead of the set team of Cecil/Rosa/Rydia/Kain/Edge I have to play the GBA version and ONLY that version.

I’m just confused and annoyed that they don’t want a remake to be the definitive edition of the game. Why would you bother with a remake that leaves out content?

“...various hurdles kept the team from being able to make it a reality”

If a journalists asks who does the vfx in an upcoming movie then yeah you’re gonna get an answer. Especially if it’s a noteworthy studio doing the work. Trying to pretend that it’s not important because it’s a Universal studio is silly. Imagine if they kept the director and actors secret? Weird.

what? “Which studio is making this game” is like a baseline piece of information to publicize and if your publisher’s press team is incapable of coordination less complex than a highschool group project, why the hell do they exist to begin with?

They should train their devs communications, not because they were wrong (they weren’t super wrong) but because gamers can turn a rude comment into a reason to commit to a decades long war. There’s just no benefit in posting like that. They don’t have a lot going on in their lives, SOME of these commenters (if someone

Movies do always tell which studio/director is making the movie though, so this analogy doesn’t make much sense since this studio is making all of the game, not just some obscure part of it.

I agree with your take. This is largely why “people who do the actual work” need to work with “people who engage with the community” to ensure that appropriate messages are created.

This is just Nintendo being arseholes for the sake of it. They have a long and ignoble tradition of just being twattish about things. Fuck ‘em.

I’m sorry if people took offence [sic] to it”

I have no dog in this fight since I haven’t played Helldivers 2, but this isn’t a real apology. It is putting the onus on the other side and implying that they are to blame.

I think everyone sucks here. Players are being whiny, devs shouldn’t speak to customers that way if they want to be professional. People act like games are their life and their life is ruined if a gun is less powerful, probably only temporarily until they do another balance update.

It’s pretty easy to tell you don’t play the game regularly by your comment. True there are insufferable whiners out there but inarguably the patch has made the game wildly more difficult and thus less fun as a result for most folks. It isn’t just a weapons update—even if you’re fine with those changes, now enemy

$35 for that stuff is criminal. I believe I’ll pass on that. Nothing they are adding is worth that cost. They sure make it hard to like Persona sometimes.
