Game’s issues aside the fact that they swapped out merchandise like that without notifying anybody until after release is outright false advertising. Bethesda’s gonna get hit hard with lawsuits on this one, jeez

I’ve been in Customer Support positions in the video game industry for 11 years and have worked with companies like Square Enix and Activision. The customer support answer that was sent was... upsetting. To put it mildly. Here’s how I would have answered that email:

In the next day or two, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Bradford was being a hero, a good guy with a gun chasing the actual gunman. But, you know, he was black, so by definition, not a good guy.

I like how the very same people that will tell you how it’s so great that you can open carry in Chick fil A will be the same people that will say the cops had to shoot immediately because the guy had a gun on him. (May have had a gun. This post doesn’t make it clear if he was armed or not.)
