It’s an adolescent Bigfoot ghost, ya seen one of ‘em ya seen a million of ‘em I swear.

That’s because I didn’t necessarily disagree with much of it and largely what I disagreed with would have been splitting hairs or just debating on your personal tastes on the merits of a movie it sounded suspiciously like you hadn’t seen, or at least have reasons for disliking that I probably don’t share. It just…
If a door texture failing to load is the one thing coloring your view of a game that is absolutely filled to the brim with beautiful and stunning visuals you might just be a miserable asshole.
The point isn’t that the game doesn’t run better on PS5—it does—it’s that much of what’s broken about the game isn’t performance-based.
First we get games announced usually 2 or 3 years before their intended release date.
I have similar feelings. They can fix the bugs and tweak other things but the problem with the game is that it’s just fundamentally poorly designed. It’s like painting the walls in a house with a poorly built foundation.
Definitely, it will take a brand new game to not make CP feel like an Ubisoft open-world game. This could have totally been “Far Cry: Night City” and people would be like “it’s an okay Far Cry game, but the stealth mechanics are pretty weak and the quickhacks aren’t that interesting.” The fact that it’s a CDPR game…
Personally, I don’t think this game can be saved by post game patches.
Next Big Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Will Fix Cops
I have a PS4 copy I snagged for like 20 bucks used sitting on my shelf until like....Whenever it is viable to play (I have a PS5).
Because uhhh some of these problems do not sound like problems the games should have had in the first place. The cops spawning on top of you when you commit a crime is not only immersion…
“...it’s still hard to recommend playing Cyberpunk 2077 unless you’re on next-gen hardware.”
The real question is will the cops still forget I exist the moment I step behind something as view obstructing as a light pole? Really took the piss out of the game when I noticed how easily you can get away with anything by just walking away.
I’ll play through the game again, but not until all the DLC is out. Some games are extremely replayable many times, some games are a good ride that you leave behind when you’re done. This is the latter.
Fewer cops randomly spawning directly behind you the second you put a toe out of line.
These are fairly low-hanging fruit - to the point that there’s mods right now which address some of them - but it’s good to see them addressing actual gameplay elements. I know some people assumed that things like the cop spawning and car handling would be ignored as CDPR focused purely on bug-stomping and performance…
Then don’t buy it. I have a 65" 4K OLED and Breath of the Wild looks like muddy crap compared to 4K 60fps games the other two consoles are doing. Sorry, but there are paying customers like me who want one. Now, that said, I don’t mind 1080p 60 and I think 60 is absolutely crucial so I’m hopeful the games will 4K 60…
The same compute power that can push 4k could also be used for those things you want as well. Not sure why you think a 4k capable switch means that the power can ONLY be used for resolution and nothing else. That would certainly be a weird mandate from Nintendo.
Exactly, everyone is getting 4KTVs now. Why would you want to view anything on it in 4K? Hahaha! Your logic is ridiculous.

All of this so Tim Sweeney can bask in his exclusive games (hello, anticompetitive moves), shitty storefront, and grifting tweens for virtual fucking skins.
