Honestly, I would love to see a more divided opinion. The way I reason the public change of opinion to favorable is that, by the time the movie starts, he has been working non-stop to save as many people as possible in order to attone for waht he did. That way I can see peoples opinion turning around.

I like to think that it was the loss of his awesome hair due to kryptonite what drove him to super villainy. It gave him confidence, presence, and the chicks loved it, but after its loss nothing was the same, and so he swore vengeance on the alien that made him lose his cool image.

What really kills it for me is the knowledge that they will never depart from the status quo. At the end of the day everything ends in the same place again. I wish they would do like marvel did and create a ultimate universe where they could experiment as much as they wanted, and with real consequences.

I’m happy to see that I’m not the only one who thinks they have transformed from hippies to hipsters.

Ah the cape, it had a lot of faults but I have such fond memories of it. I consider it the precursor of gotham in terms of pure ridiculousness and wackiness.

I have the feeling that this movie comes way too late. Wolrd of warcraft is not dead by any means, but the novelty has dissapeared, both as a game and as a fantasy world. They are going to need some really solid story to make a difference. The movie looks good, but so far I have not seen anything that I haven’t seen

Really? I never had a problem with his face, it looked pretty neutral to me, just a regular face, nothing special, which was quite refreshing, not every villain needs to have his face deformed. It’s his whiny emo teen attitude that I couldn’t understand.

You know, call me crazy but somehow I can see this working...but I’m still adamant about the reboot. NO REBOOT. Make a sequel with a new character with her in place. It could look quite good.

A sequel? perhaps. A reboot? Nope, absolutely not. No one other than bowie can wear such tight pants and still look good. No one but Bowie can make me doubt my own sexuality. Let the original stay unique. Focus on a sequel with the same static but different story.

Eh...is he carrying severed feet in his quiver?

This right here a thousand times! I hate the way the marvel universe is just one giant rollercoaster where it doesn’t matter how exciting the ride is, everyone ends where they started again and again. However I do understand why they do it, upsetting the status quo too stronglycould have some series negative

Damn, you beat me to it. Best part of it? Making fun of the other guy. XD

I found the story very moving, it’s ultimately the story of a man who hated himself for not being good enough, and his son paid the price for that hatred. In the end the only thing he needed was to forgive himself, to love himself, to accept himslef. It’s a beautiful lesson.

I like the fact that he’s capable of making fun of his character.

Is it me or have they dialed the epic factor from 1 to 10? holy hell that gave me goosebumps. I was sceptical at first, but this cartoon keeps growing in scale and maturity. I’m all for it! :D

I always wanted to read something from China Miéville. Which one of his books do you think is the best one to start with? Thanks in advance.

And here I thought we would have an original development in which Kara has to live with the fact that Cat knows she is supergirl, but no, they went for the laziest most predictable twist ever. It has shaken my faith in the show.

I feel more excited about this than I did for the trailer of the fantastic four. In all seriousness it will be interesting to see the superhero genre through the lens of other countries and cultures.

There’s just no winning with iron fist. If you cast an Asian actor people will say that the studio is following the stereotype that all Asians know martial arts, and if you cast a white person they will say that it’s cultural appropriation. What would I like? Make him a mixed ethnicity chinese-american. It would be
