The report of the shooting is true. I know firefighters who were with the Cajun navy members when it happened. A group of people attempted to rob the rescuers of their boats, pointing guns at the rescuers and telling them to get out of the boats. The rescuers refused. No one was shot; shots were fired at the rescuers.
