She lost all favor with me when a few years ago she claimed she was a “single mother who has a more difficult job than other single mothers”. Um, yeah. Pretty sure that mother working 50 hours a week making $30,000 as a secretary is looking at this movie star making $10MM a movie with major side eye.

In the interview, she also states that she is “completely self made” because her parents supposedly cut her off financially at 18. Later she goes on to mention working on Hook, which coincidentally was directed by her godfather, “uncle Steven.” As in Spielberg. But she’s completely self made.

Really, it’s been the same thing over and over ever since the infamous “conscious uncoupling.” I just want to walk up to her and be like...

Well, Gwyneth, when I load up Goop, the shop items that first appear are a $450 dress and a $550 pair of shoes. Take a wild guess why nobody talks about the eight-dollar item.

It’s tempting to like Megyn Kelly because she gets into feuds with douchebags about their bullshit and then I remember that she also works for Fox and is a republican and isn’t exactly speaking truth to power herself.

Co-signed. I really have no desire to relive the inescapable media circus that was this whole terrible affair.

I’m not especially religious, but I take “I’m praying for you” as less “I’m praying for a magical cure for cancer” than “I’m praying that you and your loved one will find peace somehow and you’re in my thoughts and in my heart.”

Speaking from personal experience- I thank people for sincere offers of prayers. It’s not my thing, as I’m an atheist too, but if I want to be left alone to my own beliefs I can’t be a jerk to someone sincerely offering comfort in a way they know to give it.

It’s not smoking. It’s vaping. Vapor comes out, not smoke. I wish everyone would just focus on the fact that it has truly helped tons of smokers kick the habit. I smoked for 14 years, vaped for 1, and haven’t done either for 2. My dad smoked for 30 years and has been cigarette free for 2 years now because of vaping.

NO, it’s NOT still smoking. It’s vaping. I agree that doing it indoors in a public space is still bad but it’s literally NOT smoking, that’s the whole point.

It definitely is safer, you can feel it in your lungs. Now, I agree that it isn’t “safe” but it’s objectively “safer”, EVEN with the propelyne glycol nonsense.

This might be the closest thing he has ever done to admitting he was wrong/apologizing, so.

A post has been making the Facebook rounds about a woman who sends pictures of her shits to guys who send her dick pics.

Because she’s never met a boundary she can’t violate.

Isn’t this guy 28 years old? Why is his Mommy butting in?

i think this is more why kids dont want adults...

I used to have a needle phobia, then I had cancer & got over it. I would have thought that this would be the same thing, but I guess it’s sort of like the guy in the next cube chomping his gum - it either becomes background noise or you get hypersensitized to it.

Cos it's a no brainer. Endure one terrifying, major thing once to end a daily, terrifying thing for the rest of your life.

I read these books to my kids for perspective.

Charles Ingalls served on school boards and town councils in pretty much every place they lived; he helped pay for the church bell that still survives (albeit not in the same church); he proved his claim in the Dakotas and settled down in a nice house in DeSmet. He and his wife managed to not only keep Laura in school
