A lot of metro areas cross state lines. St. Louis and Chicago both come to mind. As does NYC.

That's her *mom*? I thought it was a slightly older sister! Jesus, what kind of genetics do they have in that family?
But in the cab company's defense, they are claiming Alexis had worn a lot of make up which made her look older, which is clearly a steaming crock of shit.
I never really thought of it that way! I really struggle with liking James and Lily. They both kind of seem like they were douches.
... I don't think that was even just "widely accepted," I'm pretty sure that was explicit cannon.
This literally hurts.
i feel really sad and heart-broken when i hear of white people adopting children of color.
It was both racist and classist. The school justified it by saying her grandmother didn't pay restitution- because we totes know it's appropriate to press criminal charges against a 12 year old because her family doesn't have an extra $100 laying around.
It's all around gross.
Mm, I'm guessing it's because they think of it as classist. Both girls' families had the chance to buy their way out of punishment - but the black girl's grandmother, who is raising her, couldn't pony up the $100 like the white girl's family could.
I'm betting there's a vicious circle that happens. So some minor incident garners a kid a one-day suspension. Then the next incident, they look at her discipline history and see "uh-oh, already suspended once!" and the punishments get harsher and harsher for stupid things because they've created this self-fulfilling…
All of what you're saying is valid and workable. But, to me, that's the X-Men you're describing and not Teen Titans.
You bet. They were about to murder a girl who did not sign off or consent to their mad science experiment to harvest her brain. The doctor literally grabbed a knife and attacked me if I attempted to save her life. They didn't even know if it was going to work. They were desperate, crazy people who had never once…
It is a little immersion breaking but I'll take that over them constantly screwing up my stealth which happens A LOT in other games and is frustrating. Better to cause mild immersion breaking than irritate the player constantly (something covered in the documentary for the last of us).
I think that version looks so much better... it's not as realistic, bu the stylization gives him more personality.
There's only one picture of actual footage of the game on the CRT and it's from an impossibly high-angle, how can you make the statement "it certainly fits the game's dystopian mood?"
An aside; within The Last of Us there are mostly HDTV's, but at the ranch in Wyoming there's a CRT. I always wondered why the most…
So what you're telling me is that it's on par with Subway, Chipolte's, Panera, Zaxby's or any number of other second-tier fast food places that don't pay their employees $15 bucks an hour. People have been paying more for fast food for over a decade now. It's disingenuous to pretend otherwise.
You're paying for non mass produced quality. I have no idea how much a McDonald's #1 - 27 cost but a quality meal at $9 beats a mass produced meal for $6 (randomly selected estimate of a McMeal)
Why? It looked pretty spectacular. It's a gameplay video, not a teaser. There was that one glitch though, although more of a camera glitch than a gameplay glitch since the player already died when Nathan went out the map. The camera just followed him. lol
