I would say that it's more likely that the non-custodial parent would be the one to dash. After all, the custodial parent already has the child. Most in-family kidnappings are done by a someone who doesn't have the child full-time.

I thought it was needed because people have misconceptions about feminists and how they view child custody issues.
When I first saw this story I thought it was going to be some crazed fan had kidnapped someones son. The actual story isn't that much better but at least the kid is with his mum and not a stranger. As a feminist I think the dad totally deserves to see his child and know his whereabouts.
Because calling out assholes is a bad thing? Get out of here.
Fuck off with that whit knight bullshit. Defending someone from being harassed is a good thing.
That's pessimistic. I've shut many a fools up who start talking irrationally by calling them out on what they're doing. It's not being a white knight by being a good person.
I don't particularly care for the term "white knighting". As "Psychoceramics" stated... is there really anything wrong with telling all of the fucktards in the game to shut the hell up, and stop acting like sexist douchebags? I enjoy gaming with intelligent people, gender, or age be damned. If you're chill,…
The thing I find funnier is how we raise our boys and men to be incapable of treating women equally. Is it really so hard to just go, "Okay. Welcome to the game. Let's have fun!"
That doesnt look "unsupervised" to me.
The more important question—the question CNN and Fox News and MSNBC and all the other pundits and analysts should really be asking—is this: How was an eight-year-old able to shoot his grandmother in the first place? He sure didn't use a video game.
So my two questions remain:
There really should be more (explicitly-ish) asexual characters out there. +1, Faris.
The only thing sadder than a brownie for one is not having a brownie for one. You might think "OMG, Loneliness." We confident types think "MMMM, Brownies."
I loved it. Applause is very much about the fact that "LADY GAGA" the act is all a performance that exists for the public. The performance really solidified I think. It was fun.
I may have just danced my cat around singing, "I live for fuzzy paws, the paws, the paws. I live for fuzzy paws paws, live for fuzzy paws paws."
It's true that I knew that there was a core fan base who loved the game. I also saw/heard lots of the negative comments. Also it's funny how many people have said "I got the game in 199X for $5 (or $10) in the bargain bin." I'm glad they got a great deal (honestly!) but it's a bit of a tweak every time I hear…
Lindblom, if you read these comments, you should know good and well that your work on this game was loved and appreciated by one of the most diehard, dedicated fanbases the gaming industry has ever seen. The fact that it is doing so well now on the Virtual Console is proof enough of how much good word had built up…
I'm grossed out by the PDA.
