Uhhh. I was in Japan back in 2003, and while they might be “polite,” they also run down pedestrians in back allies, which is not very polite. I’m a liberal, and I tend to think of them pretty strongly in the (non batshit insane) conservative camp. Conservatives consider them to be in the liberal camp. 

I can’t believe I almost missed this game, I’m lucky a friend told me to play it... The nude model that she was upset about, sure. But the protagonist being a villain wasn’t really that terrible. I mean, it wasn’t done particularly well, but if you want to take something from Heavy Rain indicating things, maybe look at how it treated the one female character, Madison Paige...

We all knew it would happen sooner or later. Awful, that’s all I can say. Hope the guy gets charged, and I hope this becomes a catalyst that makes swatting uncool. But I suspect the kind of person who’d do this still won’t get it.
