Not knowing how to pronounce a word properly just says you didn’t look it up in the dictionary when you read it, and yet you are comfortable enough to use it. Really, if the mispronounced word is used correctly, it’s a sign that someone reads more than they talk. So.

Speaking as a games industry software engineer... if schedules are built with the assumption of massive crunch periods, there is no way to get it done for the deadline. It is a sign of disrespectful management, which, yes, is a sign you should quit, but still should be addressed for what it is.
