Do you think we’re close to peak shame-gate?

Milk? My first thought was, ‘what about the lactose intolerant kids?’ My second was... wtf, isn’t the milk going to go bad? Do they have refrigerators in these classes?

Free 2 Play is ruining the industry! All they care about is money!

What kind of work do you do? Is it derivative, as most mods by necessity are? If so, how much do you pay people to license the original creative content and gain access to all the people who have bought their work? Do you pay for the materials you use, like pre-made assets or quality rendering? Do you pay for where

I’m not really sure what a) means in those exceptions, but b) seems like a pretty standard sort of protection for users. If you sell them something, you can’t just take it away later. (Well, okay, technically you can in the case of software, but I think we can all agree that’s a dick move.)

I kind of agree with the argument, but really, they’re licensing a lot from Zenimax: the engine, the game, and even the world. If you were making a full licensed game based on, say The Hunger Games, you’d have to pay Suzanne Collins for using her world.

If the modder were working at one of those companies, they’d probably make even less for any individual piece of work.

Dr “Civilization” Ghandi in a game about nukes. Now I’m worried...

He’s Hideo frikkin’ Kojima. He’ll be fine.

Er. So. They knew it was this lady’s dog’s poop being left on the ground? TBH, I’d probably have kept it too. People who don’t pick up after their dogs are awful people.

I didn’t. But I was a weird kid who was just far more interested in doing her own thing. ...I suppose I’m also a weird adult. Parties are rarely fun.

From what I’ve heard... don’t expect it to happen. This game is being made just like Kojima is continuing long term with Konami.

+1. I’d probably never say anything to gay or straight people but... it’s just rude to be making out in public. Get a god damned room. This message brought to you by your local prude.

Uh, yeah, sure. They’re overpopulated too. Globally, humanity is trying to combat that through education.

It seems they are also good with water consumption. I wonder how they do on consumables and food sustainability... couldn’t find that easily on Google. But... you have a point about Germany. I still think the world could do with fewer people, though!

It does when you consider how many resources the average German is using. (All first world countries, based on resource usage, should be reducing populations, IMO. The fact that we’ve collectively based our economies on pyramid schemes is not a good reason to continue the growth rate.)

Ah! Thank you for this post. I would have missed this, since I’ve signed off again, presumably until the next Crisis tempts me back for a while. But I can’t miss out on an Oracle/Nightwing comic— they’re my DC OTP!

One of my friends mentioned that the earth is roughly spherical. That man was running right at the cop, hoping to take him from behind!

Well... I went to Japan on a McTeaching visa. The pay was low compared to that, but I'm not outgoing, so I doubt I'd have lasted more than a few days as a hostess. I had a STEM degree, so the pay was below what I could have made athome. I went for the same reasons kids backpack through Europe: the chance to see

Well... at least they didn’t crown them prom queens and cover them with pigs blood?
