The rapist cis-man pretending to be transgender to follow a woman into a bathroom really isn't taking on the burdens of being transgender. If you allow trans-women into the women's bathroom, then you can't police gender by someone looking male or female. You'll have to take them at their word unless you require legal

Yeah. How horrible do you have to be to want to promote, like, black people, or women? Yuck, I just shudder when I think of, like, lying black ladies who complain about being 'raped' or whatever. What do they think they are, people who deserve some respect? You're either born with it, or learn to deal with it, yo.

Did you mean censure?

Games are not beholden to anyone, but criticism, even bad, stupid, or misinformed criticism, has always had a place in the art world. (I'm not calling her criticism that, mind you. I think a lot of her criticism is fairly obvious stuff, and the 'cherrypicking' is particularly easy because there's justso many cherries

The approval process is different, or would be interfered with? Bah. That is so... stupid... argh.

Ah... okay. While I am all for not having politicians dealing drugs (haha) are you really criticizing the FDA for using studies to determine correct dosages? Now that there has been a new study published and peer reviewed, the FDA should revisit the subject, of course, but you've got to be evidence based.

Not all unions. I was in a union job as a lifeguard/swimming instructor, and we were expected to be in our uniforms by the start of the shift. (We also earned nearly double what the non-unionized lifeguards at the theme parks earned, and had better hours.) It's really up to what your union considers important.

You know, I kind of wonder if the party holding kid's mom/dad said there would be a charge (which, yes, is really dumb for a kid's birthday, but hey, people can throw whatever kind of parties they want) that the no-show parents decided at the last minute they didn't want to pay for, so they figured, well, we'll just

You know what I hate about this topic? It always comes down to a bunch of people saying that what I want to read is invalid because they don't like it. People involved in slash are everything from homophobes to racists to women-hating misogynists. Now, I'm not going to say that people who are homophobes, racists and

Oh! I get it. It's like rape, but the opposite. If it's a legitimate miscarriage, the body has a way of keeping the baby safe.

Oh, but think about it. Reporting the rape is just the first step to stopping abortions. The next logical step is to introduce a law to say the rape case must be resolved with the rapist proved guilty before she can have that abortion. After all, what if she was lying about it? (And, you know, she usually is, and in

Well... had he been collapsed next to her and pissed himself, and it happened to splash onto her, then I think it would matter that he didn't intend to pee on her. Had he been held at gunpoint and made to do those things, I hope that his intent would matter. This isn't even close to what happened, though, so it's

Pride goes before Mythal?

Do even the swatters really think of it as a joke if they're calling up and saying they hope someone's family dies?

I suppose that makes sense. In this case, I feel like they should have had the justice system pay for someone to take care of the daughter and husband while the lady herself went to jail, so that at least she was separated from them for a while. But... maybe that would end up being a vacation to her? I dunno, it's so

It's not even super clever obfuscation, which at least you can look at and appreciate. This is just... no spacing.

Eh. I argued the definition on this site once before. Someone in the middle class should be able to afford (the equivalent of) one servant if they really wanted to— the middle class is not the middle economically, it's quite a bit higher. But I was argued down as a troll; it's just not what people mean when they talk

I get my numbers from the median values earned in the US, based on a quick Google search. People earning 300k per year still think they're middle income because in their circle of wealthy friends, they have people who earn 200k and people who earn 400k.

Middle income these days is 40-65k per year household income. Unless you're single, it strikes me as quite difficult to drop a few thousand on flight training with those numbers.

Depends on your definition of rich, I guess.
