This is what you'd call... game ogre.

They handled this whole situation very poorly, I think.

I think most of the backlash is from Bungie calling this a bug. I don't really think this can be attributed to a bug or mistake in coding. I cant imagine it would've made it past play testing. (Or if it did, this is an indication that Bungie needs to up its raid testing game)

ok, let's be honest about what happened here; they gutted the game, giving only bare minimum of the story at the start, so then they could sell you dlc with essential stuff that should have been there in the first place.

That game would be... reticulous.

there could be a game where you try to just take a picture of your cat in different shaped reticles. it would be the hardest most fun/frustrating game ever.

Introducing Lays Mike Fahey's Bitter Tears.

I think we can all agree...

Ability nerfed in 3...2... 1...

Yikes!

I am not complaining because I'm miscontent, I'm complaining to try and prevent this practice becoming commonplace so we won't have to buy an empty box at a retailer and then download the entire game because they wanted to skimp on production costs.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Halo and I would be all over

He's entitled because he wants his game completed at release? Seriously? This makes you entitled now?

1) The game already ships with a disc, and it is really not hard to envision compression being able to get that 20gb on there

Well... that was completely unwarranted, inappropriate, and unnecessary.

Saving money at the consumer's expense.

This is completely unacceptable. Game developers and publishers really need to take the sticks out of their asses and spend more time on quality control so we don't have to go through this nonsense.

You want us to spend bandwidth cap on a game that you tout as finished yet needs a 20 GB patch before it's even out?

I was in the bank the other day, and a guy in a mask came in, waving a gun, and yelled, "Everybody down!" And I said, "Buddy, you have no idea the mistake you've just made."

its shit like this that will catalyze another video game crash. it doesn't need to happen but farrrrrrr too often are publishers not taking the time to deliver what they promise and release what amounts to a demo disc version or a beta of a full game. if you're going to ask for more than half of $100 for your game you

You know what really irritated me the most about this? Burbank is a reporter on Television, which is ALSO something people waste their lives watching. I just pictured someone watching his report and going "My God, he's right!" and turning off their TV and going outside. Does he not realize many people also escape
