I just don’t know what I think about this season? Like, I am entertained but what is happening??? I just need Jake to always be around (please don’t kill this beautiful man off, Shonda) and always have his shirt off and always be saying the right thing and being WAY better than Fitz.

I feel you. It was a problematic episode.

It ended with the three of them on a park bench, the grandfather, dad, and junior. A woman walks by and they all make that face, and I think Junior says “DAMN” and the dad and grandfather look at him proudly. Without the lens of nostalgia I can’t look past that sort of thing anymore...

I started watching, until they got to an episode where they were showing Junior how to make faces at women’s bodies as they walked by. Nope. Screw them.

Whenever I hear people say they watch Modern Family, but not Black-ish, I give them the side-eye, and make a value judgement about them.

I had cause recently to change my voter affiliation to Republican (I’m most decidedly NOT a Republican, but the reasons were good, I promise). When I mentioned it to my parents over dinner while visiting them, my dad silently stood up, took my plate of food off the table, and fed it to their dog.
