I’m now imagining the pitch on the gofundme page.

1. I hope the family members of these residents sue: the facility; the State; the Governor; his staff members; the heads of the ‘proper agenc[ies]’.

Grrr.

Also - most of the recent repeal bills would start throwing people off the covered list after 2018's midterms, so nobody will feel the pain of it and therefore they won’t kick the Representatives/Senators out of office.

I flaked & forget the Jada Pinkett Smith headline and upon reading mention of The Smiths my mind went to the 80s band. “Morrissey in Co $?! Nah!”

Do it anyway. Someone might get it.

I have to pick a nit with Monique Monrowe’s tweet:

I haven’t watched the show (I may be the last person w/o a Netflix account). I also didn’t watch much of the Emmy broadcast, but reading this part:

This could be one of the best film reviews I’ve read in a while:

Yep. You know he said that shit just to derail the conversation. The host should’ve ignored the ‘boobs’/’booze’ crap to tear down his Curt Schilling false equivalency.

Was just saying something similar to my colleagues. (Not that she’s my representative, she’s not...). When pressed, Pelosi brings it.

Love the second image! Will use in future (I’ll credit you when I do).

When using term/s of derision ending in ‘-wad’ my preference is for jackwad.

Very.

Sorry, nothing of substance to add here, just haven’t typed this in a long time:

Isn’t it also contrary to the First Amendment? (Or will the argument that it’s not contrary to the 1st Amd be that it refers to “Congress”?)

Any show that represents God as: a Goth teen boy, a young girl, a cute (possibly gay?, perhaps hat just how I received it) teen, a dog walker (played by Russ Tamblyn) and Mrs. Freakin’ Landingham is okay by me. The acting was really good. Steenburgen & Mantegna were great as the Girardi parents.

And Dan Savage agrees. It’s a vending machine.

I should clarify: it was clear to everyone at the school that she’d become famous, not just me.

It saddens me that she’s thrown her lot in with Dr. Phil, a man I cannot stand. But, if this helps dispel myths about mental illness I’m all for it.
