I’m sure this animation style will be run into the ground but for right now, I’m so fucking here for it for another 5-10 years. It elevated the latest Puss in Boots, obviously the Spider-Verse movies...like, let’s fucking go, people, animation is FUN again.

To me that seemed like the novel thing about this take - that they actually are teenagers. Not sure if other versions have done that.

Oh good,they made April age-appropriate.

He’s voiced by an actual 15-year-old. You’re thrown off because you’re used to the Turtles being voice acted by grown men in their 30's.

I thought that scene was perfect as well as the unloading of the long story to the captain who just said he didn’t speak any English.

I don’t think Valentina got played. Mia is a transactionalist, purely so. She never promised Valentina a rose garden, just a night of self-discovery. Mia kiboshed the idea of a future relationship and Valentina rewarded her honesty. Theirs may be my favorite relationship of the show.

That part had me absolutely howling in laughter. This dying, scheming queen trying to pull himself up on to a couch and all of a sudden finds himself being interrogated by his near-victim and it’s about if Greg is.... having an affair.

In this post-Succession world, eat-the-rich satire is a dime a dozen - but where else can you find Jennifer Coolidge massacring a group of gay mobsters?

Yeah, Daphne’s visceral reaction to Ethan’s news was the best scene in the episode. She was so hurt not only because Cam cheated on her again, but because Harper betrayed her in a sense. She tried to hard to have a girl friend in Harper, but Harper betrayed her, just like all of the other girls.

Going into this ep, knowing she’d seen Greg’s picture and heard Greg’s phone calls and saw the uncle f***er in action, I was thinking, “maybe Tanya has hidden layers?”

Is anybody else noticing all the kisses Cameron is planting on Ethan?

I think Albie and Portia are interesting only in that Albie believes he is acting differently because he is using different language. Regardless, he is still constantly calculating how to have sex with Portia even if its in a more politically correct way.

I loved that speech. It does a great job of crystallizing how, even if you’re the “good guys”, even if your cause is undeniably just, you still need men willing to become monsters in order to win. Luthen made the decision to sacrifice every scrap of his humanity in order to play his role. And I love that, even with

Yeah Skarsgard killed that monologue.

I’m curious about your last statement. I didn’t take it that Cassian and Melshi were the only survivors (though it’s a convenient way to keep them together for Rogue One). I just assumed folks got scattered as they made their way toward shore.

Luthen’s speech was great. Stellan Skarsgard is just fantastic.

It was almost as if he was pretty sure he was never gonna make it that far. He obviously knew they were surrounded by water. He just happened to survive his suicide mission.

The emotions he conveyed was powerful. The fear the shock the sadness.

Boo. B grade is not correct.
