Suburban white guy here. When I was an irresponsible youth, I ended up in County for 30 days. One my first day in general population, a kind stranger took pity in me and taught me how to play. To this day, I can still amaze my equally white friends with my jailhouse Spades game.

Bike mechanic here. Yes, recumbent riders are the worst. Our running joke is the recumbent riders saying “slow down so I can tell you the about the aerodynamic advantages of recumbent bikes”. They’re also a mess mechanically, prone to frame issues and chainline problems.
