That stuff about Robert Byrd always bummed me out so much. If people actually looked into his life, or even just bothered to read the fucking Snopes article, they'd know that he was one of America's most dedicated public servants who spent his entire life trying to redeem himself from the mistakes he made as a young

Also, it's one of the funniest movies ever made.

Bo Burnham's two most recent comedy specials: Make Happy and what. I love everything about those two specials and they have had an enormous impact on the way that I think about comedy. They both have incredibly emotional endings that play on themes of identity and happiness and what it means to be a human being, and

I mainly included the blackface thing because it sounds so bad, but there are extenuating circumstances.

No, this guy is serious, although one of his arguments was that "You have to admit, Trump has the best memes."

As someone who is aggressively sober, you won't get any disagreement from me on that.

I think rum-pong might be better, because everyone will just get drunk and quit faster.

I spent 3 1/2 hours arguing with a Trump supporter at a Halloween party last night. Occasionally he would remember that he was wearing blackface and realise that that probably undermined his points. She'd been in hospital for a couple of days, but we only found out that she was dying about 30 minutes before it happened.

Reading about British bands sexualising children just reminds me of Brass Eye: Paedogeddon, the greatest half hour of comedy, pretty much ever.

This weekend I've just been listening to the new Joyce Manor album and being alternately amused and horrified by the leaked Trump audio.

Anything from Marquee Moon by Television will do this to me, but especially Venus, Prove It, and the title track.

I do indeed.

I had not heard of Simply Saucer before, but I will definitely check out more of their stuff. Those tracks were awesome.

I watched it again recently and it does have maybe the most charismatic ensemble cast ever in a movie.

I've been on a proto-punk music kick recently, so this sounds like the exact right thing for me. I'll probably even try and pay for it somewhere.
