Waiting for them to get to 11 and 13.
Waiting for them to get to 11 and 13.
There was no damage done, but in hindsight, I should have split it up. I loaded up almost a pallet of flooring in one go in my E39 touring. In total, there was 46 boxes (Each weighing in at 45 lb.) of laminate flooring and underlayment and other supplies that handily exceeded the recommended payload capacity of my…
Rob,
BBS RK?
How much did that run you? B/c... I want.
Lol apparently neither did he.
B4 S4 still had an 8K redline. Was a car you still wanted your foot in. Probably the same thing here. Numbers don’t show a complete picture.
BMW engines aren’t notable for reliability or endurance? News to me. Would have been around 180/180 HP/Torque out of an M50B25NV. Long, long useful lives are testaments to their ability to survive. I’ve had 2 M50's over 150K, two M52's over 180K and currently have an M52B25 with 213K miles in an E36 and an M52B28 with…
That’s almost a unicorn. I’ve looked for a 325iT or 328iT for years w/ the 5 speed and low miles.
Good call! I wouldn’t be brave enough to do a full interior swap on an E39. I’ve done it on my E36, but the E39 seems like it has more clippy bits to break.
I have an LCM II, I just never want to spend the money :(
Ah that’s right! My ‘00 wagon has the M52TUB28 & I forgot they switched to the M54 afterwards.
So pretty :D
My heart always skips a beat whenever I see Technoviolet or Daytona Violet. Moreso when Technoviolet b/c that metallic in the sun is HNNGGGGGG.
I completely agree. S55 is pretty sweet and I would love that in a TVR.
I tried to avoid turbo talk and focus on the N/A (N52 & Barra) since modified, single turbo N54's walk pretty much everything w/ xHP (And is fairly budget friendly).
Agreed. As an example of modern tech, BMW’s N52 stock HO models come with 272 HP/230 ft-lbs out of a 3.0L from factory. Stock turbo 4L barra’s were putting down mid 400's on both numbers. Modified N54's make stupid power.
WT trim Chevrolets in double or regular cab are either below $20K or below $23 respectively. You can find F-150's on fleet lots with nothing on them for below $20 in regular cab, long bed trim.
You can still get WT trim trucks that you can wash the floor out of still.
SN95's wearing these were my favorites while they look great on E36's too!
Tide raised all ships - cars and trucks are much much better than they once were.
