It seemed likely that the person in the picture on the left was XhoiSan, so I googled 'khoisan musical instrument'. Google books led me to Culture and Customs of South Africa by Funso S. Afọlayan which details the evolution of this type of instrument on the sub-continent.

I've recently come to the conclusion that it's better to fold dress shirts than to hang them. By laying the shirt flat you can ensure the top button is perpendicular to the others - the way it is when you buy a shirt.
