She believes in vision boards and stuff like that, so…y'know…

She's a piece of ass. Cut yourself off a slice.

I prefer fast riffing to Riff Trax-esque overly punctuated riffing (the fact that the RT riffs often aren't that good doesn't help much) - it normally means there are some gems you didn't catch on the first few run-throughs.

All those travel shows were really world-domination scouting.

Seriously. Creedence and CCR are the usual shortened versions for the band. Nobody calls them just "Creedence Clearwater", and since the band-minus-the-Fogertys regularly tour (and even recorded) as "Creedence Clearwater Revisited", the more info request should've technically happened.

I listen to a lot, including the typical comedy ones (Earwolf, etc), so I won't go through all those now.

The A.V. Club

Yep. April Richardson (the comedian; you might know her from @midnight) would invite a friend over to her apartment to watch a selected episode and then they would talk about it afterward. April was a fan of the show, the guests ran the gamut from fellow fans to people who had never seen it before.

If you ever wanted to hear apocryphal Paul Lynde stories as told by Dana Snyder (you know, Master Shake from Aqua Teen), check out last week's Dino and Andy's Skull Juice. Turns out Lynde really was the Andy Dick of the time - and not just for the obvious reasons.

In case you weren't expecting it, there was a new Pistol Shrimps Radio last week, part of a tournament. It's no spoiler to say that the Shrimps lost, because the game gets out of hand pretty fast - so, this will probably be the last episode until the fall (there didn't seem to be any mention of something like the

I dunno. My take on Gabrus, for what it's worth, is that he's very aware of and sympathetic to your average social justice issues and progressive politics in general, but he'll also OK with making stupid jokes about the same topics and issues, too.

The 500th episode itself is pretty dang funny, of course. I'm always kind of upset at myself for how much I enjoy Gino's micro- and macro-aggressions, and his definition of CoinStar-ing was just ridiculous (in a good way).

There are several more things like that:

I would've been so tempted to make my FJ response "Dhu Hast".

What if they remember it but never thought much of it?

No, looks like your spelling was fine. There's Purdue Pharma that produces OxyContin; it has no relation to Purdue University.

I guess we should probably now know to treat Sean and Hayes eps of Spontaneanation as weird, outside-eps. I'm sure that PFT knows what he's getting into when he has them on the show.

For Your Consideration: Podcasts take way too long to talk about cliched ideas. (10,000 word essay)

I listened to a few HH eps after they got so much hype around here a year or so ago. I didn't like it at first ("oh, good, two guys who giggle way too much at themselves doing yet another Jackie Harvey/Jiminy Glick/et al schtick"), but I often found them funny on other podcasts - CBB and Doughboys in particular.

I've been listening to recent eps for the last 6 months or so while also making my way chronologically through the archive. I obviously have a large gap in between, but to me it seems like there was a point where they stopped sticking to the "Hollywood Handbook" premise (i.e. douchebag big-time players) and were more
