Oh, I had my fair share of things that I wouldn't necessarily expect anybody to fully agree with, but I got a decent enough posts-to-upvotes ratio that I like to think I say OK things often enough (though Crow's New Hair recently called me a - scrolls down in Notifications - "pissant anonymous nobody" because I shot

Shouldn't the oral history of the AV Club just be "lol wtf is the av club"?

Whoa, crazy. One of the biggest ruts of my life was totally enabled by this place. I guess it can be…two things?

FUCK NO. I went to see it the last night it was playing at the local indie theater; the extreme southern tip of a multi-state storm front rolled through the city and shut down the block's power with ~8 mins remaining in the film (including the credits). Talk about shit luck - outside the theater there were downed

Fun is an…interesting descriptor.

Wiggles didn't have to punch back much. He's got the upper-hand: he knows Tha Boyz are jealous because his podcast is a runaway train and steals all their fans. And lazy digs about made-up crying fits ain't gonna faze NickelBot - you gotta bring out the big guns to get a rise out of him (eg hating french fries, dad

Whew. I was starting to worry that my main reason for still reading WOT had given up. Thanks, @avclub-c2368b9b57ecb23aade9660fac830459:disqus! Also, yay new Countdown Cats!

It's very simple. @sicklycareercrim:disqus didn't realis/ze that somebody with the name Pedantic Editor Type might be particular to basic details.

It was pretty ruthless, but I'd say that his end-of-episode dig at Colin a few episodes ago (where he questioned Colin about poaching podcasts from his previous gig, receiving a clench-teethed "Thanks, Sean" rebuke) is up there with it.

Oh, man - if Craig's List is introducing you to movies you've barely even heard of, then I'm not even sure what to think of you, @apathymonger:disqus. You're an AV Clubber, dammit!

The early one with a drunk Marc Evan Jackson was great - MEJ's voice is so immaculate that, even when drunk, he manages to still sound so composed.

"That one got weird fast".

As an old fan of MST3K, I was happy that they got a new season and I enjoyed it well enough - but I learned long ago not to raise my expectations for rebooted pop-culture favorites. I wished them well, but I wasn't gonna send 'em money or nothing.

Oh, for fuck's sake. It's sad that happened, but I'm also thinking, "It's okay to walk away from your computers, people".

Agreed. Easily my least favorite parts of U Talkin' U2 to Me - except when it's Todd Glass talking about Down Easter Alexa.

If it makes you feel better about yourself that you think you're some sort of Disqus celebrity, have a ball, man.

Most fanbases are fucking annoying. Community's fanbase was/is fully of shitty, little nerdy nerd nerd nerds; hardly a surprise that Harmon's next major show would have a similar base.

Aren't you the guy who was annoyingly gung ho about the MST kickstarter and then complained a lot about the new season for not living up to your expectations?

It was a show about duck kids. It was an enjoyable enough diversion for human kids. There's really not much more to it. Let's not overthink this, people.
