I love the name but as another commenter said I prefer the C version. Bc being called “Cat” is my ultimate goal in life... also being a cat... which is my ultimate ultimate goal.

I agree the C is much better, I would wanna be called Cat instead of Kat bc cats are amazing duh.
I love Mindy and I’m so happy for her!
As a fellow holder, I agree with the whole bit about getting to have a nickname for each identity is cool. They tend to grow organically as well.
In my experience, we have repeating names in our lives that represent some intense experiences or crossroads. Mine are Khaled, Felipe and Ali; for a friend of mine Robert and Greg, etc.
She is the celebrity I am most convinced would be my best friend if we met in real life. Also I am sad for her that her brother is such a douche but I can relate and how about Mindy tells me all about while we pick out Best Friends necklaces from Claire’s?
I love Mindy. That is all.
Better than “Rocketeer Muppet” or “Kale Salad” like so many celebs do.
Congratulations to Mindy! I was thinking of her recently... (and no, not because of the Oceans trailer). I wish her fortitude and the wisdom to know when she needs a giant shit-faced sob and alone time and that she has a village around her when she needs to help.
Kat Kaling. Great name. They are going to have so much fun together! After the baby starts sleeping and before she is in middle school.
I don’t even mind the song. And I thought the video was funny. Shrugs.
I’m 29 and fully embraced pop music a few years ago after being 100% a hipster art-rock snob for all of my late teens/early twenties....and I agree with you. This year the mainstream was soooo boring. I think it’s telling that there was no clear ‘song of the summer’. The stations I listen to were playing Drake from…
Totally thought that the Maroon Five song would have a terribly used sample of Here Comes the Rain again. The superior song with lyrics “like lovers do”
I like Portugal and I’m a DJ so that counts for something.
I think the non-basic live in a world where they’re not sure who Ed Sheeran is: “Isn’t he that guy who does EDM-jazz mixups? Like, that sort of thing is okaaaaay, but commercialized music all just seems a little derivative to me.”
Liking Ed Sheeran is basic. Hating Ed Sheeran is basic. When we are all basic, what is basic?
Look what you made me do, Taylor Swift.
“Look What You Made Me Do” was a party trick that people took way way too seriously and I happen to enjoy the hell out of it. I also really dug the guitar riff on “Malibu.” Agree on the rest, and I’d also like to nominate Demi Lovato’s grating mess “Sorry Not Sorry.”
