We leased our first Bolt in 2017. We leased our second Bolt in 2020. We bought out our lease last month. Even with parking the car outside before the battery pack was replaced, it was still a great little car. Could have bought a Tesla, but didn’t see the value there. Ugly? Ever stare at a VW bug? Largest selling…
Of course it’s disproportionate compared to dino-burner tax. Three reasons:
‘stupid petty’ - i think that sums up the texas legislature pretty aptly. Same group is trying to force banks and investors and other companies to do business with oil companies as well.
It’s always been from what I remember, especially the cosplaying “operators” who slap ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ stickers all over them.
Mixed metaphor, lol.
Sabotaging buddy
on one hand, i understand the whole “recouping lost tax from not fueling up with gas” but on the other hand, penalizing what is probably 5 times regular gas cars would be be contributing in taxes on average is just stupid petty..
I wonder what Texas resident Elon Musk thinks about this? Suppose he’ll Tweet a criticism of Abbott? Think he’ll go against his new Republican buddies?
Wow, pissing on the underemployed having to take a bad job over having no job. Very brave
It’s almost as if people expect pay raises after doing a good job and working for years, at the least the kind that keep up with inflation!
MN just passed a $2500 EV rebate. Pair that with the $7500 Fed rebate and damn if you can’t drive off with one of these brand new for like $17k!
Something tells me it has more to do with fairly inexperienced kids and young adults being told of potential raises that never come and not realizing that they’re going to be expected to work like they’re getting paid commission when they aren’t, all while under constant threat. Seems like you just like to complain…
“As I get older, whenever someone does a dick move in traffic I just let it go.”
It’s a game, it’s not really a big deal, they’ll get it later or get their money back, it’s not going to hurt them, and they actively chose to engage in a shitty business practice anyway. For the employees though, it’s their life, they don’t get that back.
I don’t think it’s that people are surprised by their pay when they get hired. It’s more that they can’t live with constant inflation without their pay increasing.
I’ve stopped feeling bad for people who still shop at Gamestop. I also don’t understand those people.
Employers are like strippers during a lap dance; they’ll encourage you by insinuating there will be more all day, but it never comes.
i don’t think it’s price, considering the money they usually spend on customizing their jeeps. in fact, i think it’s the customizability of the Wrangler that drove the switch. these are basically Harley Davidson people that are afraid of motorcycles.
To everyone that may have worked there for years and see this, and as someone who years ago gave the company in different parts of this area 10 years of my life. Fuck GameStop and fuck the DM at the time (possibly still now) Manny Mata. Coming from working in Flint, Burton, Troy and Detroit I feel for all of you
